     PSI Limited was contracted by Marengo Mining to develop the exploration tunnels at their Yanderra Project, situated within the highly prospective New Guinea Copper-Gold Belt, located 95 kilometres southwest of the northern seaport of Madang.

Due to the remoteness of the project, helicopters were used to transport all equipment to site. Traditional mining methods were used, including set and timber, drill & blast and removal of spoil by rail skips. Two tunnels were put in at different levels of the project, and local labour was used along with our highly skilled PNG miners.
